School Holidays are here again!

The kids are having their school holidays starting 19th August to 28th August 2005.

IEP classes will resume after this school holiday..

okay. last IEP we decided to do something different. testing the reading skills of the kids with something a bit refreshing. nope not the latest cleo or fhm. we brought a whole set of encyclopedias for the kids to pick and choose a topic that they wanna read about. with the help of the abangs and the kakaks.

from the whole exercise we noted that the reading proficiency of each kid pretty much varied. some were very good in the sense that they require little to no assistance while some were going at it at a snails pace.

anyways, after the kids had some time to read up on the topic of their choosing, we then gave them a few minutes each to talk about what they read and share with the rest of the group. they all did their best to present. and with a lot more work and practice i'm sure things will get better.

The boys were not available last Friday (5th August 2005).

Hence, there were no classes last Friday.
